News Release

Changes

Grammatical errors and sentence flow were a priority for me when editing the draft while Jordan focused on cutting it down. Comments from the peer review revealed that our news release was really wordy and therefore not super attractive for college students to read. By cutting some of the flowery lines out and adjusting the sentence flow we hoped to achieve a more user friendly news release that was also easier to read and understand.

My Role

My role involved creating an outline that Jordan and I could then work on together to delete or add things in. I was also in charge of formatting, making sure the Headers and footers and paragraphs in between matched the examples in the book. I was also in charge of doing a final once over before sending in the final draft. I have more free time than my partner so I am happy to take on the larger portions of the project and rely on her to check my work or provide feedback and answers to any issues or questions I may have. I like my role in our system and the work we do is effective so I will be maintain this role in the foreseeable future.
